[picspam] HnA Mannequin Five Fall 2011
The voting at TBS's Akasaka SACAS for the Fall Coordinate Mannequin Five competition started today, so I went to Akasaka straight after work.
There is currently a typhoon here/on it's way so it was a pretty cold and rainy day today... but I think that made it less crowded, so I am NOT complaining at all.
I got my ticket and then headed inside the TBS building to wait till my meeting time.
Since I was waiting, I did some Ikemen Desu ne flailing and photo taking to keep me preoccupied.

Then I found some fliers for Ikemen Desu ne Butai... with Uchi-kun! I am so sad I wasn't able to get tix (T_T)
My time came sooner than I felt it was going to take, and they were actually letting us in to the area in number order. Luckily, I was in the first 20 so I had A LOT of time in there.
I was totally shocked when I handed the worker my ticket and he handed me these stickers!
I have been SO BUSY with work and friends visiting (14 guys from home came up last week and I have been showing them around Tokyo... and now my friend is here from California until next week) that I haven't had time to go on LJ or do anything besides work, sleep and go around the city. But yeah, it was a pleasant surprise to get these 25 awesome puffy stickers (10 Arashi member stickers, Mannequin Must Item, Ristorante Botsu, Koisuru AraTheater, VIP Limo, HnA Logo, Otona wa Dekitetouzen SHOW, Maji dema Research, 3 tags from Mannequin segment, the two different limos for VIP segment, and three different opening image for HnA [spring sakura, paris, theater]). I like that there are logos for each segment, but am a little sad that VIP Room is VIP Limosine... and that Mannequin Five is Mannequin Must Item... but it's free and cute, so I shouldn't complain.
Aaaaanyways.... on to the outfits.

OMG. I HATE this outfit. The shirt is super ugly. It actually is a button down T-shirt which already makes it lame. I wrote in my comments that it looked like Roppongi in the morning... aka puke... and that it was weird that the mannequin isn't wearing socks. The crotch is SUPER LONG (almost to the knees). I also thought it was weird that it's wearing such a big scarf because it's also wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt.

Ok, so at first when I saw the outfits on line, I only liked the top half of this out fit... but when I saw it in person, I LOVE this outfit. The pants no longer look like you can steal something from a store easily... and I was able to see the botoms of the pants (which I think are so cute) better! Also, the shoes look WAY CUTER in person than they do in the picture They have a bit of purple and blue in them which really make it cute and Aiba-chan like. Oh! And I love the corduroy layer at the bottom!

Online the T-shirt looks like stripes, so I totally was teasing that it's a "double stripe" outfit... which means it could be Sho-chan... but when I saw it in person, I realized that it's actually a plaid shirt...

TINIEST FEET EVER!!!! I HATE HATE HATE this outfit. #1 is bad, but this one is LAAAAME!!!! The shoes are ugly, the hat is NOT PRETTY, the jacket is too short and doesn't match the jeans or the coral colored T-shirt... oh wait, I lie. It's inner lining has coral in it... like tiny stripes... but it's still the worst one in my opinion.... although #1 gives it some competition.

I liked this one the best when I saw it online. It totally reminded me of an American preppy boy... but when I saw it in person, it was like a preppy boy mixed with an old man. lol. The pants were cute because you could see the plaid-ish lines on them that you couldn't see online, but it made the outfit cuter. (*^_^*) However, there's something about that tie that makes it look like a wannabe ascot... and I like the chucks with it... for a high schooler or college kid, but not an almost 30 year old....
So after careful consideration, I approached the box.
And casted my vote.
