Today, I reached my second decade of life.

I really could not find the right words to start an introduction. I feel that I have so much to share that if I didn't my emotions would explode. Here goes.

* Berlitz Language Learning Center

- Lex and I met up in Berlitz at 10 am and we both claimed our certificates - our proof that we passed German Level 1. It was still early that time so we thought of a way to make us stay longer at Berlitz (because we really missed the school).  After a while we inquired about the schedule for German level 2. We had a fun consultation with Ms. Cheryl - almost chit-chat like. The consultation went from level 2 schedules to information about the different levels, to the instructors, to supplementary materials an so on
. We also saw our German teacher. He was really friendly and was the first to say "Hallo". We asked him about where to find German films. He suggested that we go check out the library at Goethe Institut.

- Lex saw a sign-up sheet for different language clubs (our teacher signed up for the Spanish club and the German club). The consultant said membership is for free (if my memory serves me right). Lex asked me if I wanted to join (of course I do) but I thought of pondering on it for a while.

*Goethe Institut. (GI)

- I decided to show Lex the building from which the GI is located. The place is not that far from Berlitz and it was really easy to find
. Upon arriving
we inquired about the schedule of their classes. Unfortunately, the schedule has not yet been released. We took the liberty of browsing the books in their library. Our smiles reached our ears as we surrounded ourselves with German reading material. The library had glass doors that gave us a view of their classrooms. These classrooms reminded me of those at Yuchengco building at DLSU. However, the atmosphere of the on-going classes did not appeal to us that much and that we liked how the classrooms in Berlitz are arranged.

*Mittagessen (Lunch)

- Delifrance was our first choice but then I suddenly craved for pizza. We decided to take our lunch at Greenwich. We had lasagna and pizza and from there we took a few pictures of the food and of one another - haha soul-stealing und Pastazeit!!! (pasta time)
. During that time we planned to drop by Mandarin Hotel for the job fair but the rain kept us from going until our minds changed and we decided to go to Greenbelt. Along the way we spotted some Causasian people and we both tried to answer this question:

"Welche Nationalität hat der Mann?" (What is the nationality of that man?)

Both of us had the tendency to answer "German".

*Greenbelt

- At Greenbelt we stopped by a Chapel for a short thanksgiving prayer (yes I wanted to thank the Lord). The Chapel had a beautiful garden and it had a small flock of Ducks and a statue of a herd of Carabaos. Afterwards we headed to Powerbooks and look for some good supplementary materials for our German. We also browsed books with interesting titles and covers and we ended up reading this book entitled Seduction. We sat ourselves at a nearby  seat and began browsing. The cover had a picture of a pair of legs with one leg wearing fishnet stockings and heels. The book talked about how women seduced men with things like hair, stockings, and clothes and it had good pictures of women from different eras. The clothes were interesting and so was the Zeitgeist(?) of each era when in comes to standards of beauty. It was a quiet fun time at least for us
.

*The Enterprise Center (TEC)

- Lex took me to the 38th floor of TEC to visit a friend and to submit my resume. What happened to the job fair? The guard suggested that we go there but I insisted on submiting my resume there instead since we were already there. At that time, I refused to be interviewed on my special day hence I did not confirm to an invitation for a job interview that was scheduled today. I wanted to have a Christmas break (I pray to God that I did not make a wrong decision. I didn't confirm because I already had my interview with that company a day or two after I applied to them online last month).

- The guard was friendly and Lex changed her mind about applying to Deutsche Bank (DB). (I made her promise to accompany me should I be scheduled for an interview at DB.
)

*Starbucks, TEC

- We had our afternoon snack at Starbucks. We had Caramel drink (I'm not sure of the exact name of the drink) and we shared a slice of chocolate cake. The meal was obviously sweet. Lex and I talked about many things like:
  • Our German teacher and his perfume.
  • Things related to courtship and relationship
  • Family stuff
  • Tokio Hotel
  • The Possible impressions of Ms. Cheryl about us (hyper mode during consultation :P)
- We had our second "soul-stealing" hahaha. A while later, we received a text message from Ms. Cheryl that we can start German Level 2 on the 6th of December. However since there would only be three in the class the rate would be higher. Happy about the news, we headed back to Berlitz. It was around 4pm that time and both of us should be heading home. Along the way and while chit-chatting, I predicted that we would see our teacher again around 5pm. Also we kept on forgetting why we were heading back to Berlitz hahaha. I guess we got drunk from the caramel drink and chocolate cake.

*Berlitz -again

- While waiting for Ms. Cheryl, I saw our teacher and began tapping hard on Lex's left arm (entschuldigung Liebling :P). My prediction came true! I waved my hand and Lex was in her "special child" state. Herr Kalt approached and the three of us had a little chit-chat. I found it akward talking with him perhaps becauseI knew he is around our age. I don't think I would be able to use the informal "Du" with him in class
.

- When Ms. Cheryl came, Lex inquired about the possibility of having an additional member to our group should we decide to go for the December 6 class. The possibility was low though because the other student waiting for German level 2 would be available in January. We have to confirm our slot by Wednesday next week so Berlitz could prepare our class and our materials on Saturday
. That, we have to consult with our parents.

Lex and I said our good-byes and split on the underpass.

After that, I realized that my feet were aching.
