Poll Decisions decisions

Reasons to stay in physics: It looks good for colleges, I (might) feel better about myself as a student, I wouldn't be "dropping a class", it (might) get better next semester, I could put more effort into it, I wouldn't be a quitter, I might need it in college, I want to be well rounded, I don't like giving up. Physics study parties.

Don't do it. You made it through first semester with an A or A-, and you'll do the same for the second semester. Even if you do get a B or something it's not a big deal, and it will be good to at least have experience with it. Plus, dropping a class would be lame. Also, then you wouldn't be taking math or science which would be sad. If you drop anything it should be Spanish. I hate that class so much.

I keep going back and forth. Until the past two days I wasn't even considering it, but now I am.

...I think not taking math or science might just be my greatest aspiration in life. lol

Ha ha. Yeah, but isn't that a bad idea in terms of colleges? Ha ha, I'm going to say "in terms of" a lot now.

You shouldn't drop it. That would be sad. Even though you hate it, it's one of those classes that is a unifier. Those are important classes, like History.

Yes, but in history funny things happen, such as today when Tulani asked our class how elk mate. You missed out.

Oh darn. I don't know how I could choose staying home watching Scrubs over listening to the melodious sound of Tulani's voice as he describes Reconstruction for the fourteenth time.

Why did you get to skip school? Not fair. I miss being able to skip without feeling guilty. Apparently each class at UPS costs $80. Lame.

And you should have been watching Supernatural. *tsk tsk* :)

I dropped out of AP calculus the second semester of my senior year, and I got into college, and still feel well-rounded. Plus, I didn't take physics *period*. You'll be fine, my dear. I spent the period that I had previously had calculus in as a TA for Mrs. Lagsdin's explore Lit Arts class, and even got to teach them and grade things! It was way more fun, and I feel like it helped me more in life than learning calculus would have.

As you can see, my brother and I have differing outlooks on life. :) Neither of them is wrong; it just depends on what you feel would be the most beneficial in all areas (not just school, but not just stress-wise either).

Think about it this way: will dropping physics alter your future in any way? Your career? Your family life?

Sorry for my long ramble. haha. I tend to do that when I should be writing my Spanish essays. :P

Yeah, I'm not taking calculus either. *shivers at the thought* I took physics to balance out no math, but I seriously can't stand it. Bonnie said to check with a few schools, but that it probably wouldn't matter. So I have ten days to decide...

¡Buena suerte con tu ensayo!
