(no subject)
i LOVE that no matter how long it's been since i've seen a friend, it's like no time has passed.
hanging out with jessica last night and tonight, it felt like i'd never been gone.
and bianca tonight...we can't remember the last time we saw each other, but it's been yearS (2? maybe?) and it totally didn't feel like it, it was great and i had SO much fun.
our road trip to tucson thursday will be funnn!
and i saw jessie sunday and i'll see her again tomorrow...again, it's like i went on a short vacation, no big deal.
ahhh i love my friends! here and at ND! i'm basically in love with life right now. well, i always am, but even more so.
tomorrow: lunch @ ASU with my lovelies katrin and naufel; coffee @ Seattle with jessie and paco; stalking starbucks with my super amazing sister to see if the boy she likes is there, and then dinner in downtown phoenix somewhere...we don't know where, but it'll be cool...and a movie? i haven't been to the theatres since summer.
basically, tomorrow's gonna rock.
i feel like i'm on summer vacation again. after hanging out with jess, bianca, and matt tonight, i decided to take a joy ride around phoenix. i rolled down the windows, turned up the music, and sang at the top of my lungs as i went from baseline down the 10, along the 202, up the 101, took the 60 until i hit a street i'd never heard of (greenfield?) and then turned around. it was great, i love driving. and singing. and driving and singing together...good times. more good driving times to come thursday.
and then friday's homecoming! yay! oh and i'm going to visit ruby's with hollis. that'll be fun too!
craziness: my friend zach from ND lives in pennsylvania, so when he was visiting upenn the other day, he met chris pham, who i went to middle and high school with, and they were talking, and my name came up (cuz chris said he's from AZ) and of course chris knew me...what a small world huh? one of my best friends from church happened to go to elementary school in chicago with one of my best ND friends...that's crazy too!
i'm not quite sure how i got to that topic. eh, whatever. i'm in an absolutely fantastic mood and it's only going to get better this week!
