Following up on my pre-Hurricane Irene status.

The weathermen certainly weren’t kidding when they said Irene would wallop America’s east coast. I’m still mind-blown by all the images on TV: towns flooded, damage galore, even casualties. Mother Nature is one scary lady. My deepest prayers to everyone affected by this disaster.

"If that other K-storm comes anywhere near us, that's it, man, I'm done. I'm just done." -- I hear ya! That'll make two of us.

First of all...I'm sooo happy to know you're okay, Jessie! Most of the TV news in my hometown chronicled Vermont's damage, but every so often we'd get updated on New York...and every time I'd pray to myself, "God, I hope Jessie's okay." I wish Spruceton didn't suffer so badly, though. T_T I can't imagine how horrific and heartbreaking that ordeal must've been for you. But I am very relieved that you're okay. ^_^

Believe it or not, I'm not as Apocalypse-crazed as I may sound, probably because the "end of the world" is so freaking (over)sensationalized in media nowadays. In fact, I didn't even bat an eyelash to this 2012 hoopla until the weather started getting scarier. I dunno. Maybe there is something behind that 2012 crap after all. Regardless, the recent weather patterns have got me wondering what the hell's really going on here. If these storms really are angry messages from God, I too can't blame Him. This world needs some serious improvements -- big time! It's sad, but true.
