since doing our server migration, i've still basically been doing a server migration.
the list of fires i have to put out is so long that it is an actual list. i've taken to writing down things that are on fire.
a lot of my days have been people wandering into my office asking for something that will take "5 minutes" punctuated by "hey, how are we doing on that 2 week deadline?"
we missed a bunch of stuff on the server we turned off. fortunately, being a forensics company, we kept the old server disk and i've had access to all the tools i need to find stuff on it.
my recent issue is trying to locate something that sounds suspiciously like a cron job, but it isn't on our server. the person that wrote the component quit last week. i'm starting to suspect it was running on his desktop machine.
