Oooo, it's saturday.
Megacon was muy divertido ayer. Personally, there were WAAAY too many Cosplayers (like people who dress up as video game/anime characters). I mean, seeing those people is kinda amusing cuz you can like point and say, "d00d! i just saw 3 Inu Yashas walk by!" I kept on thinking that I wish I had brought a camera w/ me so I could take pictures w/ the better Cosplayers..but I had forgotten that my new-ish cell phone has a camera in it. >_< ah well. Didn't see too much stuff this year. And I didn't go shopping crazy. Let's see...first, I picked up some free pins and stickers (after I had filled out a form so some random company could send me email spam), and then I found a homestar runner booth (!). I bought my brother a black Strongbad beanie because he wears beanies after he gets "bad haircuts" when his hair is too long for SJV school rules. Walked around for a bit..saw some Star Wars people, booths selling stuff related to Buffy, Smallville, Angel (I wouldve gotten u something, kelly..but like all they had were cards and $70 signed autographs of Sarah Michelle Geller, which I know u can get on ur own now :) ), a booth about Harry Potter (and I wouldve gotten you-sarah- a Hogwarts scarf if they didnt cost $30), and many many anime booths (hey, i got u some Pocky, Jessica..and the chinese guy selling me the stuff also let me have a new flavor pocky for just $1..it's salad flavored..LOL). Oh, didnt get Rose anything b/c I didnt see much Marvel/DC whatever kind of stuff..*shrug* Tho I picked up some free postcards w/ sekshee japanese boys on them for my Azn pals (lol, and whoever else wants one. Kelly, I couldnt get an autograph of the blonde girl/black guy b/c you needed to buy a ticket to see them in advance, and the ticket was kinda expensive...I'm sorry!!!..hopefully that Shane kid will bring you one!! I got you some neato free stuff tho!
...what else..oo!..I also went back to the homestar booth and bought a 3 dvd pack of Strongbad's first 100 e-mails...watched 50 yesterday..fun stuff! :D Tambien, I got one of those nifty thingys that you hang off your cell phone..it's pink, gold and white and has a white puppy on it..too bad it doesnt really match my phone..but i <3 it nonetheless. And, yup, it was fun...^___^ Afterwards, my cousins, brother, and I went to Sweet Tomatoes. Yum. I've never been there before, but it was very delicioso.
So, yup, that was my friday afternoon/evening. Now I must devote this Saturday to chemistry (again) and 100 Years of solitude (gah, kill alday). <3 later
