God give me patience! A blustery 50 degrees out nearly knocked me over on my way to work and now I'm wearing three layers and a scarf and ashiver because it's now about 30 degrees out and falling. And it might snow. That said, the coming of spring always heralds excitement and new phases of life hurtling into my path. I'm countering it, of course, with lots of nostalgic-sounding music: Eleni Mandell, Jolie Holland, Neko Case, Rosie and Judy, and today, boy so fitting, Nina Simone.
