got a hunch? bet a bunch
here's a quick question.
okay, here's a quick story before the quick question...
teresa and i went to Target the other day to get whatever people get at Target. she took a mosey on by the dollar section while i stood and waited for something useful to happen... not a big fan of shopping, this guy. anyhow, there was an old lady pushing a cart near teresa, also looking in the dollar section.
first of all, she was tiny, like, head was even with my waist. she actually had to reach "up" to push the cart. secondly, she had a hunchback that would make any adult mountain in the world reminisce of its younger years. can you imagine everest as a young developing rebel of a hill? always sneaking out late at night to chase some crevice and valley? that's not the quick question....
but really, on a hot day, she could stand in her own shade. she gets cat-called by 2-humped camels regularly. t-mobile is in the middle of striking a deal with her to erect a new cell phone tower on her peak. this thing is one of the few "man-made" objects you can see from space, according to nasa.
but seriously...
if, in whatever universe, this old lady was a vicious, sneaky ass thief using her hump to make uncomfortable eyes turn away, using it to take advantage of a system..... if she stole massive amounts of merchandise for years on end and then finally got caught and arrested...the police take her in to get booked and photos taken, all that good stuff.....would they measure her height according to where the top of her head is, or to the top of the hump?
