Summer
Summer is going well.
I'm working a lot, but I'm also having a lot of fun. It feels like the summer before college should feel.
Last week, I had the whole week off. It was much needed, you don't even know. Most importantly, I turned 18 last Tuesday. It was a good birthday. I spent it with who I wanted to spend it with. Then on Thursday I went to the lake with some people, and that was fun. I endured my first rowboating experience. Very interesting.
On Friday I went to Target and got a ton of needed things for college. It made me really excited! Then I went out to Sally's for the fourth and hung out with a bunch of people. Except, everyone else watched a movie in the basement while me and Jayda watched Flight of the Conchords in the living room. I spent the night at Jayda's that night and made my first ever midnight run to Deli C. Those fries are banginnnn'.
On Saturday night I went out to eat with Jayda, Shawn, and Tyler. I had missed Amy's! Haha. Then we went to the fireworks where we met up with Joe (=D) then we watched them with all of those people plus Zach, Rome, and Phil.
Yesterday we ventured down to Harrisburg for the American Music Fest. It was such a good day! It's my favorite day of summer so far. Good music, good food, and the fireworks were awesome! The ride home was hilarious. Markus and Nate are some funny, funny people.
I work all this week, but then next week I go to orientation. I'm not really looking forward to it. It's four days long! I wish Shawn was going with me..
Well, I wrote in here to try and pry myself from the TV on DVD that has consumed my life.
