(no subject)
I hope you all had a happy Christmas! Mine was okay-- not much different from how my usual day is, just with the addition of presents.
Still in a slump when it comes to icons. I just can't make typography work out on screenshot icons. On icons in general, really, but I try.
For anyone that's checked out my FF.Net account, I've been writing a lot lately. 4 chapters have been posted each for Breaking Limits and Invaders Must Die, and chapter 6 of Feed the Fire is underway again-- I think I must have been insane to plan out such a long fic, but maybe I'll complete it, someday.
I've been fiddling with my fst document again too. Looking at some of my song choices makes me giggle-- I was tossing around ideas for an Enma FST, but I think I should wait until the climax of this arc so I don't royally fuck up his characterization cause seriously? He goes from wuss, to badass to asskicking emo boy in the span of 30 chapters which only span a month or so, time wise. The song choices and the accompanying drabbles are all over the place too, because of that. It's so irritating.
Oh god. I downloaded The Used discography. Oh god. All of this is going to relate to Xanxus in some way, in my fucked up brain. Just like Disturbed. Aughhhhhhhh.
I want to make FSTs for more series (I've done KHR, Naruto and halfway did one for PoT) but funny thing is, I fangirl realistic series, for the most part. Making a fanmix for ES21 or TeniPuri would be... awkward, I think. Especially since the characterizations for those series are even shallower than the ones for Reborn. qq
Maybe I'll finish my Ryohei, Lambo or Xaxnus FSTs soon. Or get off my ass and write the drabbles for my NaruSasu fst so I can get that finished.
Last note: I'm pretty glad I played RO and WoW during college and when I was unemployed. Being unemployed NOW, and not playing either... I've run out of fandom to indulge in. :( Maybe that's my cue to write more~
edit: trying to download/rip the Ao no Exorcist PV video so that I can make icons out of it IS GETTING REALLY ANNOYING. Seriously. http://www.ao-ex.com/swf/player.swf is the player, but usually even with flash players the video the call back to is mentioned in the page's code. BUT NOT THIS ONE. Ugh. Fuck I wish I understood Flash better.
