Speechless

"A bill that breezed through the state Senate on Thursday would make saying the pledge of allegiance every day more than a patriotic moment for Michigan's students. It would be the law. The Senate quickly and unanimously passed the bill during its two-day, lame duck session. It would require recitation of the pledge every day by all public shcool students in grades K-12 unless they or their parents opt out on 'religious or philisophical grounds'." -Kzoo Gazette, Saturday Nov. 6th.

I am perplexed.
