It's been raining since yesterday. Off and on, but mostly rain. Just now, the wind whistled by the windows. Literally. Whistled. That stereotypical sound you hear in haunted houses and horror movies. Then the whole house shook with the force of the wind. I think it was thunder that followed a minute later, but I was staring out the window in disbelief and didn't see lightening, so it might have been a tree branch.

Jim's comment: Holey crap. Are we gonna die?

The wind is still rattling the storm windows, but it seems to be not quite as forceful now. No, I don't think we're going to die.
