Today was hard. It was the first time I saw my mom really cry when she looked at Alec. She's not suppose to be around lil kids since the medicine has taken her system all the way down, but she likes to see him anyway. Fortunately Alec was sleeping, so he didn't see it.

She said that she wants to be around to see his children - yes, thinking that far ahead. I told her that she would be - encouraging you know?

Yeah. I know that the treatments have to be hard.
