Why don't they sell calendars for the year we're currently in? What if we're all exterminated before 2004? What then? I don't need a calendar for the future, I need one now.
I went to a thrift store today to get old t-shirts for a skirt I'm making (very much like the ones in Urban Outfitters). Thrift stores have so many fun things, but I can never stay in them too long, and that's slightly depressing because most of the time you have to search for the really awesome things. I don't know why I can't stay for very long, I guess because everything is labeled used. If I stay in there too long, some part of me is afraid people will think I'm used. It could also have to do with the musty smell many of them have that makes me dizzy. Oh well. I got my t-shirts. It's going to be a lovely skirt, in all different shades of green.
My mother also went a bit crazy again today while we were at the vet, and the result is that we now have another kitten. I don't mind too much - she's adorable. Her name is Lolita, and she's black and very exotic. So our bathroom is once again occupied by a kitty. I'm going to take photos of her tomorrow (with my pretty-pretty new camera that's in. Yay!).
I have so much planned for the next few days, and I'm excited about a lot of it. Yet there's always a little bit of me that wants nothing more than to run until my legs are sore, to somewhere warm where I can do nothing but be loved.
They threw away my necklace, she said, because they tested it and proved that it wasn't real gold.
Oh, it's alright, I said, it wasn't worth anything anyway.
She sniffed, yes it was.
