Favorite: Par Amor. I had so much fun writing it and it was strangely easy for something that was so long and something that I felt was intense for me to write. Also, feels like I've fallen in love.
The best: Hmm, I think Par Amor? Or maybe Silver Linings or some things just make sense (even after all this time). They were fics I felt that I really stepped up a bit in terms of writing skill and really getting a handle on the story.
Most underappreciated by the universe: lmao. I think Silver Linings. Idk.
Most fun to write: light 'em up, lining up the dots and Live Long and Prosper. That whole series just cracked me up while writing it. ;w; But I also really had fun writing Par Amor, feels like I've fallen in love and some things just make sense (even after all this time) in terms of like really getting into it.
Sexiest: Uh, i want to eat you like a piece of cheese? At least Joonmyun tried to be.
"Holy crap that's wrong even for you": I don't know if there's anything really weird that I've written. Lol.
Fic that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Probably Such Great Heights for Sehun.
Hardest to do: There wasn't a particular one that was especially hard. But if I had to pick one, I'd go for the 29k BaekYeol if only because I felt pressured because it was for a friend and because I hadn't written BaekYeol in such a big scale before.
Biggest disappointment: Chances Are. I could have written this so much better. There are loopholes and sucky things. :))
Most telling: Hmm, I guess Par Amor in a way, but not exactly because of the main story.
A thing I'm surprised at: I think the lengths of two of my fics surprised me. Lol.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you never would have predicted in January?: Chen/Kris? If I had to pick. But writing Sehun/Lu Han out of my own volition was also a surprise for me. Lol.
Story with single sweetest moment?: Lol this is hard. But there are two scenes in the giant BaekYeol. One is that scene where Baekhyun tells Chanyeol "Byun Baekhyun isn’t Byun Baekhyun without Park Chanyeol.” And the other where Chanyeol signs them up for a walking horror tour in London. When Chanyeol finds out that Baekhyun's been scared all that time but never said anything, Chanyeol asks him what he can do to make things better, and Chanyeol kisses him. Idk that scene still gets me.
The story that made you cry?: Par Amor really hurt my heart.
Easiest story to write: Par Amor and the BaekChen.
Most overdue story: The giant BaekYeol lol
Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?: I think writing longer fics have forced me to really plan things out and really made me (at least try) get to know my characters better. Well I learned that planning, even if it's really hard for me to do before the actual writing, does help a lot in the long run.
In regards to writing, what did you learn this year: Planning is key.
Do you have any fanfic goals for the new year?: Take more risks in terms of story lines and plots and explore other genres maybe. I also still have to work on characterization.
