My Perfume Oil Wishlist (and my first LJ post!)
I've been a member of LJ for a long time, but just so I could read friends-only posts from my friends. So hopefully there won't be too much of a learning curve for starting my own posts!
I think you could say my taste in perfume is "cloying gourmand" lol. I love the pastry/pie type scents and creamy gourmand florals. I don't much care for unisex scents and resins and spices tend to amp like crazy on me.
Possets have worked for me better than any other brand/etailer.
The one non-Posset I'd love a bottle of is Blooddrop Kelpie.
I'm also searching for a tomato vine scent and a bacon scent (I'm thinking like maple bacon, light and sweet, not too smokey). Either single notes or together in blends depending on the other notes. I already have Demeter Rye Bread and Possets Buster which smells like lettuce, so I'm halfway to my fantasy of smelling like a BLT rofl.
And I'm interested in super syrupy sweet blueberry or blackberry scents without spices.

1000 Proof Egg Nog (has a note that turns to straw on me)
Blue Pepys (smells like canned black olives to me, *cry*)
Diaphonous Dress (tickles my nose)
Frou Frou (same note as the olives in Blue Pepys I think)
High Tea (Possets lemon notes just aren't working out for me!)
Highway 666 (Leather and smoke. Sexy but not me)
Luminaria (I like it but not strong or unique enough)
Limoncello: Ti Amo (Lemon)
Mary (Grapes and dry, elegant but not really me)
Orion (too guyish, gave it away)
Ornament (almost wondering if I got the wrong decant! Smells like old lady perfume and aquatic)
Passion (Starts yummy, turns to dog poo. Might turn back but by then I'm too paranoid)
Penelope (just not me)
Pauline (Coffee is too strong)
Pomona (not sweet enough)
Punch and Cookies (good, but not unique enough)
Sanctum Sanctorum (too guyish and nose tickling)
Texas (great at first but then not unique or sweet enough)
TGL Chai Chai Chai (lemon)
Tricky (smokey and too dark and meaty for me)
Trixie (Great but not unique enough so swapped)
Tulipomania (nice, just a bit bland)
Yule Posset 09 (same as Egg Nog, turns to straw note on me)
