well im back in dekalb now after an amazing weekend in chicago...no worries, i will be back there tomorrow after my last day of work.
this weekend got me thining a lot about where my life is going right now and some decisions that i need to make about some things. seeing my parents this weekend also made me think a lot about some things. mostly why things ended up the way they should and i wonder if my life will end up like theirs. my dad told not to get married, ill just get hurt in the long run but i know thats just stupid. then he asked me if it bothered me that my mom was getting remarried and i said no. he asked why he sent me to a catholic school if i dont believe what they taught me. i dont know when my dad became so into religion but it really made me think. i know a lot of people whos parents are divorced and the ones who are still married dont seem to be happy at all. i dont want to end up like them and i think i will.
i leave for the navy in 48 days and im real excited about that.
