I think I'm brave enough now to show you around in my apartment - if anyone interested. ^^ Ever since my hobby is concentrated on anime/manga - it shows in my environment. XD I just can't hide it. XD

I wish someday I can do that when i get my own place. Amazing amazing...That ichigo pillows? or covers? I hope I can get them...

That bookshelf on wall living room? with ichigo calendar below...i've always scared of such designs...how nice, my ichi calendars always nicely in plastic. i put them out once, my mom told me to take it down...:sigh:

you don't put them in plastics? Your weather is so good. Mine can't, they just turn yellow. I hope the say can come where I can hang my super big ZE poster. XD

It's totally home-sweet-home for me. :3 You'll have your own I'm sure so you can also put out your fav things.

The pillows are not just covers like the Akihito one. They came in a vacuum wrapping, shrinking it but once you start to remove the plastic bag, they grow big. Not as big as the Aki one but just the perfect size to hug. XD Still no news about them being shipped to you from rightstuf? :(

No plastic on them, not even on the Bleach one - only the flash of the camera what's reflecting. They do get aged by time and once my little devilish cat (yep, the black&white little monster) played with the Iwaki one and ruined the edges of a couple of pages... :( I could have cried but he did not do it on purpose I'm sure.

What size is your ZE poster?

yes - no dirt ^^ it says dryclean only. :( So I don't really hug them. tried it but now they are together under my bed in their original plastic bag since they'd be covered with cat hair within a second...

wow! that's a beautiful wallscroll! *.* And big! This does not have sword so why can't you put this one on the wall? Oh, this weapon thing is because of feng shui? ^^

LOL, nothing special but will make a photo and show you. ^^ I have 5 external HDDs... Call me a maniac... XD

Oh, and the 'flying' shelf in the living room - it's quite fix but I'm planning to put on 2 more above it so that I don't have to pile them like that.

And yeah, cats really pick the most weird places to take a nap, for example a book when you're reading it. XD

Oh, so you do know cats! XD It's like 'how DARE you deal with something else instead of worshiping me, you lowly 2-legs'. XD So be it the PC, a book or the TV, they have to get between us. XD

wow I wish can collect mangas like you as well other collectables maybe one I could! I right budget wise & I prefer if it was my own personal space.

Nice looks like you will need a bigger room for your collection such BL haven ^^

I know how lucky I am that I both have the place and money to enjoy my hobby to the fullest. I wish everyone could do that.

Haha - a new apartment is out of question so now I'm planning to have a custom-made shelf system. XD

that's a good idea! by the way can I ask how do keep your mangas in good order? some of my collection the paper color is changing into a yellow wish color I dont why! can you help me?

Hmmm... Some of mine are also starting to get yellow, it basically depends on the paper it is printed on and the age of the book. Even my Japanese ones tend to get yellow. Keeping in plastic bag might help a little but the main thing is to hide it from direct sunlight. Don't store them on a shelf near the windows. In my new system I will rather buy big paper boxes and will keep them in them.

What a great collection, how nice! I understand the problem with space, in my house I have so many books that I don't have more place to put them so i have to pile them, I'm thinking all the time that I have to put more shelves since the lack of space dosen't make me stop buying more books... By the way, I'll love to have so many licensed yaoi titles in my country, I'd buy them all! but my manga collection is mostly seinen, or shonen and some shoujo from way back! Owning the books is something wonderful, at least for me, I'm a book freak ( ... )

Thank you! :) I know how lucky I am that I both have the place of my own and that I can actually afford such an expensive hobby. ^^ LOL - I'm also planning to have a custom-made shelf system so that I can put away my manga neatly. I'm ordering everything online, my country just started publishing BL mangas and I must admit I prefer to read them English. I also have shounen and shoujo titles like Saiyuki, Ao no exorcist, Pandora Hearts, Yami no Matsuei & now started buying Bleach, too. So I think by the time I'll have the new furniture, I will not have enough space again. XD

Yes, that's what I feel like when I get home after work - a little island where I'm surrounded by my favorite things.

Yes, I can't buy that many manga, less in japanese, but you have a wonderful collection, is nice to see it. Truth is I rather buy manga in my own language and printed in my country even so the industry can grow, I'm used to the english versions but it should be licensed here too so the mangaka can have their share! (someday I'll want to buy the original manga but this is too expensive for me at the moment and I can't even read it so...).
My house is full with the things I love too, a lot of books and manga, is the best, just like you, I am in the process of putting new shelves... but I have more books every day!
I have Vagabond and Real and Slam Dunk and a lot more, well, I named my favourites.

I haven't read any of your favorites yet although I was eyeing with Vagabond - liked the drawing style a lot. From Slam Dunk I've only read a few BL doujinshis. XD XD

LOL - I have books coming in every other day so yes, it's a constant challenge. ^^
