I return and receive packages. That means I win.
I can't believe it's Wednesday and I'm only just posting to say hi! I'm back from connotations and had a very cool time.
I met some insanely brilliant people (as well as yet again spending time with the wonderful soupytwist and entropical87) and much slash-talking was done by all. Also much melting as the standard temperature at any one point in the hotel was hotter than I think even summer weather here. I had to cold-shower each night before bed just to cool down enough to sleep.
But I'll post about it more when I have actual photos and stuff. I just need batteries for the digital camera as I wore them out taking photos of various things, including the fangirl puppypile on my (giant) bed on Saturday night. I had a harem of soupytwist, entropical87, catwalksalone and tellitslant all lounging on me and I can tell you that it was very enjoyable.
I've been lounging around this week enjoying my time off. I'm about 4000-5000 words into a kind of long Spencer/Brendon/Haley fic and also spent 5 hours yesterday playing Final Fantasy IX. Bliss!
Hoever - much love and puppies and trinkets of GLEE go out to shihadchick who is wonderful and amazing in her packages of yay. She sent me SGA season 3 because it's WAAAAYYYY cheaper over there than it is here. But she included some NZ Tim Tams also, sparkly pens and a big newspaper cutout of Fall Out Boy. :D Claire, honey? The love for you cannot be textually rendered. ♥♥♥
(Aside to Claire: As I'm off work tomorrow, fancy having a commentary watching session tomorrow morning (my time)? Should be evening for you then, right? How does 9am my-time work out for you? I can also do earlier or later if you need be?)
Now I'm going to go and probably carry on writing about Spencer and Brendon both being typical boys and therefore totally mistaking each other's intent and not talking about it. Oh boys.
