Don't mind me while I fall asleep

I think Anna may have infected me with her time zone as I'm sleeping way later than I usually do. Craziness!

So in case people didn't already know, Anna arrived safely on friday morning. Jac and I got up at 6am to drive to Manchester Airport ("Gateway to the World" doncha know. I think that means that they house the Stargate there. Cunning.)

We didn't know which terminal she was arriving at so I picked Terminal 1. Wrong! So we then had a 15 minute TREK through the airport where I swear we actually walked round in cirles while people ran ahead and moved things into different places a-la-The Truman Show.

Jac and I then sat at this little coffee place right where Anna would emerge.

Jac: *starts up and philosophical discussion about the Supergirl film.*
Me: *blinks* *dozes off on tables* Do you really think this is the time for this conversation?
Guy at table next to us: *grins amusedly*

I've created a monster.

But arrive Anna did! And pretty quickly. Apparently our country just waves people in for 3 months. We don't care. Though Anna did apparently have to think really hard when they asked her how she met me. Heh.

Most of this weekend has been spent talking about a whole heap of stuff, sleeping, searching for Tanya Huff books... (Amazon.co.uk was our friend in the end - they should arrive on tuesday!) I'm going to try and start reading from the "Blood" books because I'm such a start-from-the-beginning whore. I'm going to read these and I've successfully pimped Anna into reading The Wheel of Time books! \o/ Jac bounced when I told her as we both love those books.

Also! Randa? I love you! Rodney is now happily touching himself right at the side of my computer and I have the Supernatural music mix! *cheers*

The only down side to having Anna here? It's making me miss everyone else even more. The last time I saw Anna before this was at BWI and I miss my glorious fangirls liek whoa.

jac, me, anna spanna, rampant geekness, fangirls, friends, family
