I find it sad when I hear straight people talking about how gross it is to see a man and a man, or a woman and a woman kissing, or going about doing any other public display of affection. I think it would do good to point at a guy and girl holding hands walking together, and explain that that is wrong and sick. It's no wonder homosexuals are the highest rated subpopulation of people to commit suicide when they have to deal with how gross they are, among such a bias social norm of being straight.
