Chapter Eleven: (Un)Expected
Around the corner, Airi was standing there. She heard every little word in Chinen and Ryosuke's conversation. Confusion entered Airi's mind; she headed into a nearby alley and leaned against the wall. H-He said he loved me....Ryosuke, the mysterious vampire I thought was themost serious in the beginning...but he was actually a cheerful, cool guy I never thought once he was a vampire who would hurt me. What if those moments we spent together, was it fate that we were meant to be like this? Lovers?
Meanwhile, Ryosuke and Chinen still looks for the heart of the dream. "Yama-chan, I'm starting to get an eerie feeling right now" Chinen said. Ryosuke thought for a moment, "We must be getting close". They kept on walking until they reached a point where there were too many people.
"There are too many people, the heart of the dream must be here" Ryosuke said.
Something was bothering Chinen, he knew this place somehow but where? Then it came to him, "I know this place!". Chinen turned toward the narrow and small alley way. Then he started running, Ryosuke following him. They kept running until they reached the end of the alley way, there was a little park area. No one knew about this area; Chinen smiled. "Chinen, what's this place?" Ryosuke asked.
"Before my mom and I moved to Tokyo, Airi and I would spend our days here....no one knew about this place" Chinen said. Ryosuke noticed a small carving on the brick wall and walked over to it. It was a small circular carving of an owl. "We found it" Ryosuke said and smiled.
"Well, well you found it" said a voice. Chinen and Ryosuke turned to see a familiar person, Kazami Shiori, one of Takahashi Mamoru's apprentices. "It's too late Kazami" Chinen said. He took out a small, glass orb and threw it into the air. The light reflected off the orb created an aurora. The rest of the boys saw it.
"Chinen and Ryosuke must've found it" Kei said. Kota nodded, "Let's go". In split second, the boys headed towards the direction of the aurora. At that time, Shiori glared at Chinen. "You give me a headache Chinen" she said as she snapped her fingers. Ten of Mamoru's shadow soldiers appeared and attacked Chinen and Ryosuke. The soldiers' goal was to take Chinen and Ryosuke's tokens so they can destroy it.
"Ryosuke, put your token on the carving!" Chinen said as he fought one of the soldiers. "I have my hands full here!" Ryosuke said as he threw a punch at one of the soldiers. A minutes, half of the soldiers were down. "Yo! Do you guys miss us?" Keito said as the rest of the boys came, helping Ryosuke and Chinen fight off the soldiers. Shiori disappeared into thin air, escaping from battle.

Meanwhile, Shintaro checked his watch. One hour was almost up. He took Kusano's iPod out of the briefcase and placed the earphones on Kusano. He turned on the iPod and turned up the volume of the music. He turned back to Hammie and picked him up. "I should put you back into your cage before nii-san gets mad at me".
He went over to Hammie's cage and placed Hammie in it as he locked the cage.

"I never felt so tired!" Kei said as he held onto Kota. All the soldiers were down, "You did Kei-chan..you did good" Kota said. Just then, music was heard in the air. "Time's almost up" Kusano said. Ryosuke looked back at the carving and took out his token: a small, gold, flat medallion. He placed it on the carving and pressed it onto the carving. Then, every darnk shadow Mamoru sent to haunt Airi's dreams was absorbed in the medallion.
"Alright! Mission's accomplished!" Chinen and Ryutaro cheered. In a few minutes, everyone woke up back in the living room. "Did you all get a good sleep?" Shintaro asked cutely, pretended to act as if he didn't play with Hammie. "Yep!" Yuto said. Koyama stood up and took the needles out of everyone and placed back into the briefcase. Hikaru merely yawned, "I'm too tired!". He quickly fell back asleep, Yuya just chuckled.
Kei just took out his laptop, "Oh! We can get the mercury in a few days since the convention is almost over". Kota smiled, "Good". Chinen went over to the sleeping Ryosuke and Airi, about to wake them up. "Just leave them be Chii" Daiki said as he carried a sleeping Ryutaro on his back. He then went up to his and Ryutaro's room since they needed a good night's sleep.

"Ok since Airi's doesn't know what all of our powers are....we can use the day to show her!" Ryutaro said. The others quickly agreed to Ryutaro's remark. "I'll show my powers first" Kei said as he placed at least fifteen books on the table. "Why do you need all that books?" Airi asked. "Just watch" Kei said as his eyes turned into a dark forest green. He snapped his fingers and quickly the books rose and circled around him, some words even popped out of the books. Kei snapped his fingers again and the books dropped down to the floor. He blinked his eyes, turning them back to their dark brown. "Now ask me a question" Kei said.
Airi thought for a moment, "How did Juliet die in Shakespeare's play 'Romeo and Juliet'?". "She died from poison and this is the first time I ever read the play" Kei replied, "Ask me another question, something about your life". Airi thought again, "Me and Chii used to have goldfish named what?". "Mr. Goldie" Kei said with a smirk.
Airi looked at him wide-eyed, "How did..". "I can see the past as well" Kei said. One by one, each boy showed Airi what their powers were, excluding Ryosuke. Kota can hear anything from any distance and has the ability to transport, Chinen can fix anything and see the future, Yuya has the ability to see what was going on in present-day and walk through anything like walls, Yuto can speak any language and track anything, Keito can catch anything like a bullet with high velocity and can turn invisible, Daiki can see anything invisible and control heat, Ryutaro can control ice and make things disappear, and Hikaru can make the speed of things slower and make people lose consciousness.
Airi was amazed at everyone's powers until suddenly they heard the door bell ring. Chinen went to go get it, "Oh...my...gosh"
