Chapter Six: Power
"I just can't believe it" Airi said, her head in her hands. "Well....it's the truth Airi" Chinen said. She looked back at Chinen, concern and worry was in her eyes. "Did that man did that to everyone else too? Was he the one who killed Otou-san, Okaa-san, and Onee-san?" Airi asked. Chinen only nodded in reply.
"We all became vampires at birth, it took us a long, long time for us to control our powers" Kota said. Airi looked at Kota, "What would happen if you didn't control your powers?".
"A lot of bad things would happen, we'll even be on a killing rampage" Yuto replied, "And we won't even control our thirst for blood". Airi held her neck, "You guys won't hurt me will you?".
"They won't hurt you as long as I'm here!" Chinen said and smiled his usual smile. "Then I , Chinen Airi, promise to not tell anyone about this secret!" Airi said.
"Promise?" Ryutaro said. Airi looked and smiled at Ryutaro, "I promise, Ryuu-chan". "Pinky-swear?" Ryutato said cutely, as he stuck out his pinky. "Ok, pinky-swear" Airi said, as they did the swear.
"Alright, now we don't have to hide anything anymore!" Hikaru said. Chinen looked up at Hikaru, "Hika-chan, promise me you'll never knock Airi out again". Now, Airi looked at Hikaru shocked, "You knocked me out?!".
"Yea I did but you looked as if you were going to have a freak attack" Hikaru said. Airi stood up and slapped his arm. "Itai!!" Hikaru said and held his arm.
"Never knock me out again or else I'll hit you" Airi said. "Fine, I won't knock you out again" Hikaru said. Airi grinned widely, "Good".
"Everyone, one problem" Kei said. Everyone turned to Kei who was using his laptop. "What is it Kei?" Ryosuke asked. "I'm afraid me and Kota won't be able to get the mercury until next week" Kei said.
"Why?" Yuya asked. Kei looked back at his laptop, "It says here that the local lab will be having a convention from tomorrow to next week. People will be there 24/7".
"Then, we'll wait" Ryosuke said. "We can use the time to show Airi our powers" Daiki suggested.
"I think it's great idea Dai-chan!" Chinen said excitedly. "We can show her tomorrow, I'm tired!" Ryutaro said and yawned. Ryutato then rubbed his eyes which was clearly a sign that he wanted to sleep. Daiki picked up Ryutaro and carried him on his back. "I'll take you to bed ok Ryuu-chan?" Daiki said.
"Ok" Ryutaro said.

"Since I'm leader, I'll show you my powers first" Ryosuke said. It was the next morning and everyone else went out, it was only Airi and Ryosuke. "Ok but what's the point in making a strawberry shortcake?" Airi asked. The both od them were in the kitchen, getting ready to make a small strawberry shortcake.
"I'll get to show you my powers and I'm hungry so we'll make a strawberry shortcake since I love strawberries" Ryosuke said and smiled cutely. "Ok we'll make a strawberry shortcake!" Airi said. She looked at all the ingredients, "Eh? Where's the strawberries?". They looked around teh kitchen and found teh strawberries high up in the cabinets. They founded a sticky note on the table.
Haha, now Yama-chan can't get his strawberries! - Chinen + Hikaru
"Who knew Chinen had a little devious mind?" Ryosuke said. "I did for a long time" Airi said, she looked up at the strawberries sitting high up on the cabinets. "It'll take us awhile for us to get the strawberries back" she said.
Ryosuke looked at Airi and smiled, "No worries!". He held out his hand as the bowl of strawberries floated down toward them and into Airi's hands. "So this is your other power besides reading thoughts, sugoi ne" she said. Ryosuke just smiled in reply. Time for them to start baking!
