My musical husband and my musical...er, actually he doesn't have a title yet.

This morning there were two e-mails in my inbox from my amazing OK girls with essentially the same message, which is that the William Beckett-Andrew McMahon co-written song finally appeared. Sputter - TAI... featuring Andrew McMahon. It's amazing how many of those musical phrases have Andrew's fingerprints all over them. I'm going to be singing "'Cause if you did I think I'd let you" all day long now.

ETA: GabrielSaporta - NEW ACADEMY SONG!!! and The Spencer Smith

A quick peruse of my RSS feeds also informed me that William featured Something Corporate's 'I Woke Up In A Car' for this week's Saturday Night Music Club, which just furthers my overall delight with their friendship and the universe in general. Shame on me, btw, I had no idea TAI's first big tour was in support of SoCo. Clearly this is information I ought to have had, hello.

In that same entry, I continue to be head-over-heels for the class act that is William Beckett. His way of handling that entire situation with his family causes me to make enormous heart-eyes in his direction:

I’m aware that the Alternative Press story in which I briefly discuss my family has leaked early. Thank you to those who’ve given their support and kind words and understanding. I’ve done nothing but try and protect those closest to me, and I’ve come to a point in my life where I’ve shared basically every emotion and inner detail of my life with the fans but this one, until now. Thank you for respecting my personal life, for in sharing this, the respect extends both ways.

With those genes (from both parents), that little girl is going to be breaking hearts in no time, probably with a sky-high IQ to boot. Want to bet William is already trying to teach her to solve big plush Rubik's cubes? In my head she's like the girl in Eleemosynary with Greek letters hanging over her crib, only with less messed-up family issues and more doting god-uncles. ♥
