You must be psychic. I was just wondering this morning when this story would pop up, and voila! My wish is your command, evidently *g*

You know I love this, but I'll tell you again. Your characters are always beautifully fallible; perceptive like Orlando is here, but with moments of blindness that make them human. It's not obvious, and it's very real.

I'm very glad to see this posted. Wonderful job, love.

Come on, it only took me...um...6 months? *g*

I finally just had to let this one go. I was changing things every time I looked at it, and it was getting to the point where I couldn't see the story anymore, because the words were always in the way.

Thank you so much for your wisdom and insight, love. I couldn't have done this without you. <3

Was it really that long? Well, fic ages like wine, I suppose. And I've painted myself into a corner before with stories; it's tough sometimes, but you made a good decision. After using 5 (or 6?) betas, I'm impressed that you managed to hold onto your own voice so well. I shudder to think of all our converging input! Nevertheless, you're most welcome. It truly is a pleasure to read and beta your stories, dear.

Well, I started writing it in July, but I didn't send it out to be edited until September. This one has definitely aged. *g*

I learned so much from all of you, but please...never, ever let me do that again. Two's the limit. After the fourth beta I start panicking.

The pleasure is mine, love. And the honour.

Knowing your trouble with the mutli-betas, I was tempted even with this one to ask you about Cyndi and I discussing it. But then I figured that that might influence my own beta too much and that you could handle two opinions *g*

bzuh? was there a difference of opinion on this? It's been too long & I've been too involved in finishing up the fic from hell and its addictive mate, and real-life. I still love it, though, especially your Orlando, hanging onto adulthood by a thread & seemingly stunned by Elijah's firm grasp.

There were quite a few. But I learned from them all, and I am grateful for the variety of input.

Thank you, darling. That is a beautiful description. <3

You and Cyndi edit in completely different ways, so working with the two of you is never a problem. There are very few conflicts of opinion, and you both make me see your arguments and then allow me to decide which way to go. I am blessed to have you.

And seriously, anytime the two of you want to get together for a discussion, it's fine with me. *g*
