Because I'm in charge I get to do two things... have 2 icons as 'Mod's Choice' and pimp my new icontest!

I think there is something about me & the non-100x100 icons lately. I just keep making them (I even ended up doing an "out of the box" theme over at digi_icontest~ D: )

You're brave, I hate the Out Of The Box theme, which is why I'll never do it. Because if it's out of the box then it shouldn't be square or rectangular... and that includes letterbox shaped icons. And from other icontests I've seen they get a very VERY low turn out for Out of the Box because it scares people (or people like me have problems with Elements to the point that they can't create fancy shapes ):

I loved the focus on the silly action more than anthing, and the chaotic font that worked so well with the Tom & Jerry-esque violence :)

You think? I always figured that anything that's not 100x100 fits for out of the box themes (or at least, that's what was entered~ :S ). Though you're right that it didn't get all that much participation.

Fuumei is the king of random violence~ ;P

Yeah, although with others they had to relent and let people submit box shaped icons that were smaller than 100x100 because it meant that they had something as opposed to just one or two :(

Air Gear is full of random violence... and ikki trying to poo in public. What is with that boy!?!

I get first place, second place, AND mod's choice? *BLUSH* Holy crap, man. >_> I would love banners! And... omg. :D :D :D

Yeah, when you submitted that one I just decided it would be my mods choice. The last time that happened everyone voted that icon as First Place, so to make it fair I made two Mod Choices... it somehow seems unfair to mod choice a winning icon :/ But when I think an icon will be a sure fire winner it usually receives low votage... weirdness!

Anyway, it's been worryingly low this week. People aren't going back to school yet but we weren't the only icontest with a small amount of icons and votes this week :(
