Why is it so damn hard to adopt a kitten these days?! Granted, I know adoption centers are very strict on finding the animals good homes so that they don't end up on the mean streets again, but I feel that both andrew and I are responsible, capable adults, right? And we've done SO much research on caring for a new cat, it's not like we're diving head first into this. So it bums me out when people are like "we're not going to let you adopt a kitty because it requires too much attention so unless you get two, peace out."
Also, there's this awesome smashed face cat that we want to adopt, but I'm afraid that they wont let us have it because we don't have a vet yet. I always thought the vet came after the pet..
helps! this is hard! I just want a pet that's compatible with a quiet, two person apartment home, and who wouldn't mind being left alone for MAYBE four hours, 5 days a week (because that's when we are both at work.)
