I saw Thor on Saturday.
Hello eye candy. :3 Hot damn. Besides the pure morsel of Nordic goodness that dominated the screen, I did quite like the movie. I kind of still adore Kenneth Branagh though, so I can't tell if that colored my perception or not. He's a good director. He has a sense of pacing which is sorely lacking in movies lately. I liked it a lot, I thought the movie was awesome.
I've started playing ska as of this weekend, due to the fact that it's a nice way to learn and practice these specific chord shapes. And I have to admit that I like it a lot- the mechanical aspect is easy for me to grasp. I do well with stuff like that, not so well with the fluid, creative licks. At all.
Other than that, I was hit with the PMS stick yesterday and I've continued to be a ball of rage this morning. I need to avoid doing collections today because I will murder the assholes through the computer if I get any of the same shit I already got this morning. If you tell me that the bill to address you gave me on your PO was wrong and it's my fault- I will drop a tactical nuke on your head. That shit pisses me off on a normal day, today I just instantly explode.
I finished reading the Elric volumes that I have so now I'm faced with what exactly I want to read now. I think I'm reaching the point that I have too many books on my list and I just freeze up when trying to decide. Right now re-reading Dorian Gray is pretty high up there for some reason. And then there's Conan, Storm of Swords, the next Kim Harrison book and about a billion others. Cause I'm apathetic and pissed off right now, I can't decide.
