I feel accomplished. Or I did until I walked in today and saw my to do list. :P

I managed to color a picture, go play guitar, go buy a bunch of stuff including $50 worth of paint brushes, pack my clothes, learn that the old DVD player is shot, and hooked up the PS2 to my Amiga monitor so I can watch movies in my room, and finish off a sketchbook. Oh, and catch up on nano. (I failed on Saturday. I did the pencils, but by midnight I was too tired to continue and had to finish the page on Sunday.) And laundry.

Now I have to dig myself out of a mountain.

I have a new MP3 player. Beelzebub was starting to complain about starting up, rejecting and/or burning through batteries 50x faster than before, and was generally just on his way out. Since I need music to survive, especially a flight, I bought a new one, Ifrit. Ifrit still has radio, but also can shuffle *_* has 4x the memory, and can supposedly make playlists. And best of all, no software installation. I can just drag and drop.

And tada- the Amazon purchased music works just fine. I heart Amazon now.

Different characters have different ways of picking songs. Sometimes songs will make sense for the character or whatever story at the moment, and then sometimes they'll pick entirely random ones; that's how I got Madonna's American Life for Melchiah. Others will be attention whores *cough*Leon*cough* and snatch up everything in sight, including songs already used for others.

Apparently my two darling dead Italians are going for the utterly random route. Ezio likes Shinedown. This makes sense on several levels. He's rather quiet about it, like he is with everything, but when he picks a song he doesn't let go.

Leonardo likes James Blunt. T_T Cheerful, half crazy Leonardo likes the most depressing music I own. Which only leads me to draw insanely depressing pictures where goddamn it, he's still the best thing on the page.* I don't understand this.

And then there's Lady Gaga, the soundtrack for the both of them for some reason. I stopped trying to make sense of it a week ago.

And still on a geeky note, I'm learning Ezio's Family on guitar now. XD I get to play with lead work on a really simple melody and do something my obsessive brain is engaged in. I'm actually practicing again.

I'm such a spaz case.

* Ezio is amazingly easy going. I can actually bribe him into working with me pretty easily if he doesn't want to do something, and otherwise he's enough of an attention whore that he just preens as I draw him. Leonardo on the other hand always just shines from the freaking page. He's always adorable or perfect, even when the rest of the picture is such an utter mess that it needs to be burnt. I never need to bribe him, even when I dress him up as Lady Gaga. (Which I should be shot for...)
