I'll be yours my dear...
This has been a first class relaxing weekend. Jeff treated me to mexican takeout last night. I went to bed at 10pm. Jeff slept in late as usual today. I was awake long enough before him to enjoy an odd but good breakfast of cereal, toast, and a chocolate chip cookie.
This afternoon we went to a near empty Thai restaurant for a late lunch. Afterward, grocery shopping. Woo for roast chicken supplies! We went to the park later, played tennis and read in the hammock.
My book of choice today was The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling. Honestly it took several chapters for me to get onto it. Now I care about some of the characters deeply. Rowling has surprisingly good observations to share about the town and the people she wrote about.
Tonight has brought more food, reading, and a hot tub excursion.
Our condo courtyard had a hot tub. This was my first time using it. Perfect weather for it. Nice and cool outside.
