Suzie
As I mentioned in my last entry, Suzie passed away. At the memorial service, her daughters played an audio clip of Suzie talking to her granddaughter. It was very sweet... but listening to it was hard, for obvious reasons. I had forgotten the pitch of her voice.
Suzie and I mostly talked via email. There are lots of things I wish I could have told her before she passed, life updates and stuff. I had a small list going in my head. We didn't see each other after the hospital visit in May.
Suzie was kind.
Suzie was generous with her time.
Suzie loved going to the theatre.
Suzie liked my pies. She sent me a recipe for chocolate pecan pie bars a couple years ago. I never made them for her. That fact is now on my list of life regrets.
Suzie was a great dancer.
Suzie wrote a lot about her cancer treatment.
Suzie's emails are missed.
