Why Sunday was good:
1. egg sandwich with toscano cheese
2. kite flying
3. underwood family farms
4. homemade veggie soup
5. Cartel: Collaborative Arts La's living room tour
6. going to one of my favorite LA neighborhoods for the LRT
7. METRO BABY!!
There were a coupe downsides... but mostly they were train related. The kites were fun, especially once I stopped ramming the parafoil one into the ground. The play was engaging with great writing. I've seen four out of the five living room tours; this was one my favorite. The ensemble size was bold. The six actors in the cast were on stage with each other for most of the 90 minutes of the play. For variable living room sizes, that's big. I got to talk to a couple cast members afterwards. They were nice, and seemed to really enjoy doing the project.
The show was held in the Hancock Park area. I loved walking past all the cute houses.
