Ignorance, cont.
So. I have mixed feelings about people and the way that they treat blogs.
Once again, tonight at dinner someone brought up how "stupid" blogs are and how they "seem so pointless" and how "it's so dumb when they just talk about their life because I don't care!" ..... seemed kinda rude. I don't know why I always keep my mouth shut and never just speak up to say, "Actually, I have a blog....." I don't know ....
I would try to blog about more important things, but I never experience those amazing, transcendent things that they think "real" or "good" blogs should be made of. But then, if one can only have a good blog if they limit their discussions to worldly things, then wouldn't every "good" blog just be someone's personal take on the news? I don't know about you guys, but my blog is about my little corner of the world. That's the whole purpose. I don't care if you read it or not ..... it's for me, and it's my space where I can reflect on the crazy things that happen in my life so that I can come back later and see how I was acting/feeling/thinking/imagining life. It's not my fault if you stumble across my blog and think it's stupid, but don't call it pointless. :\
Tomorrow/today is The Day of Silence. I am very excited. I am wearing my green "Gay? Fine by me." t-shirt and black skinny jeans. Perhaps I'll upload a picture tomorrow. I'm going to be a "good" blogger and document my experience, or something along those lines. OMGZ. Haha.
Well ..... I've been unproductive today, honestly. I got a fat lot of NOTHING done, seriously. Guess I'm going to bed.
