Day 09 → A photo you took
Boss/Gibbs Cat from 'El Parque de Los Gatos' in Cordoba. (So proud of this photo, this is the unedited version xD)
Day 10 → A photo of you taken over ten years ago
It was the only one I had access to, okay? All the others are at home. And yes, I know. I was cute as a child and then somewhere along the line growing up happened.
Day 11 → A photo of you taken recently
I promise you I didn't pose for this at all. In fact, that was why I chose it actually, because it was taken by a friend when we were waiting for a meal, and it's strange to see what I do without realising. I mean, I know that I do that with my hair a lot, but I don't imagine I look so....out of it. Um. But as you can see, BIG CHANGE.
Day 12 → Whatever tickles your fancy
Reid + puppy :3
Day 13 → A fiction book
I'd have to say that Sabriel - written by Garth Nix, is probably my favourite fiction book of all time. I don't know the reason, but since I was twelve, I've read it once a year, and I still enjoy it as much as the first time. As intriguing as the storyline is, I think that the reason behind my fascination with the writing style is that it I can sort of...how can I put this....familiarise with it.
Sorry, it's rather difficult to explain. But if you haven't read it, it's definitley worth a read, and keeps you on your toes!
Day 14 → A non-fiction book
'Wishful Drinking' by Carrie Fisher. An autobiography made out of awesome, because whilst admitting she's gone through various ordeals in her life, she can take the mick out of herself, and doesn't take herself too seriously. The sarcasm is just so witty. And some of it is outrageous, but she has a point. When things go wrong in our lives, and we make serious mistakes, it's better, when you look back on it, to laugh, rather than to cry.
It's also the best book to read from if you're feeling a bit low, because it sounds like she's talking to you. Like Carrie Fisher is actually having a conversation with you. And her writing makes you smile.
