My boy Jed...
Had a seizure while we were taking a 5pm stroll around the neighborhood. And by stroll, I mean slow walk. Jed doesn't do quick walks lately.
I had let him go to sniff at something, and he was gently loping back to me when suddenly all 4 legs stiffened and he toppled over sideways, lost control of his bladder, then his legs flailed wildly, and then he was just laying on his side, panting heavily. I made him stay on the ground for about 10 minutes, then he got up and we walked home ever slower.
Took him up to the Ocean State Vet Hospital, and they hooked him up and plugged him in, drew blood, urine, the whole 9 yards. His heart is in V-Fib, very fast and very erratic so they're going to keep him until he can see the cardiologist on Monday. The V-Fib probably caused the seizure.
