And I'm in the ER with Cayla. Two years ago we came during the summer Olympics and she wound up having her appendix removed at 4:45am.

Tonite it looks like tonsilitis, which I spelled incorrectly on Twitter. Boy, we really know how to do "girls night", don't we?

Ugh. Hope they gave her the good drugs, and that she's feeling a tiny bit better today.

They did give her good stuff. 2 bags of saline via IV, and then a heavy duty blast of some antibiotic I can't remember the name of, also by IV. Sent her home with a script for the Z-pak, which we had filled on the way home. Also bought the one-day yeast infection med, to beat that before it happens. LOL.

At least it wasn't tonsilitis, just a case of strep that didn't present as classic strep.

She's much better today, gotta love those blasts of antibiotics!
