... at FT Knox
Well I finished up with being a Squad Tactical Officer for the first company to come through the Leader's Training Course here at FT Knox. Now I'm working in the G3 TOC (Tactical Operations Center) for LTC. I work 24 hours on, 24 off, 5 hours on, 24 off, 24 on, etc. It sounds like a lot but it stills seems like a lot more time to myself compared to wokring 18 hour days everyday for a month.
They gave me a 3 day pass, so I was able to go out to FT Lewis to see Callie graduate from LDAC. It was really nice to see her because she is leaving for another 6 weeks for an intership. It was worth spending every cent to spend the 4 hours of actual time with her. But I also got to see one of my friends that I just graduated with, and my roomate from junior year. It was a lot of fun to hang out with familiar faces and catch up on everything. It was a much needed break from Cadet Command and LTC!
Only 17 more day here before going to FT Lee for OBC. A couple other LTS that I know are already there and they say it is super easy and it's like going to college all over again. YES! And what's awesome is that I am only about 4 hours from Callie! Yay! :)
Well, back to my 24 hour shift sitting in front of the computer and watching tv.
