Well I leave tomorrow for FT Lewis, WA for Leadership Development and Assessions Course(LDAC)... aka Warrior Forge... :p
Then I go to FT Irwin, CA for Command Troop Leadership Training. I won't be back until beginning of August... boo!
But I'm REALLY NERVOUS to go tomorrow... LDAC is really important as far as commissioning goes. It fits into how they determine my branch and where I will be stationed... so it's a pretty big deal. So, please think happy thoughts for me! :)
At FT Irwin I will be shadowing a Platoon Leader, so that I'm not too worried about, just really excited for!
The thing that sucks the most is how much time I will be apart from Callie! Everything has been perfect... and so much better than I could have imagined! I'm away from her for less than a day and I already cannot wait to hold her in my arms, kiss her forehead, and smell her love-potion like flowing hair... *sigh* But she has stuff to do at the same time, so if we both work really hard everyday, it will help the time to pass.
