will you please call 601-359-3770 and ask your legislators to fully fund the Mississippi Adequate Education Program?

Bills currently moving through the legislature would underfund Mississippi public schools by over $100,000,000. In addition, SB 2604 would substitue a numeric amount for the MAEP formula, enacting the underfunding into law. In your school district the underfunding may lead to higher local taxes, lower reserves for new buildings, fewer programs and courses. or larger class sizes. Call your legislators today and ask for full funding of our public schools.
