Arashi’s 10th album will be released on Wednesday, July 6!

“The production was started after The Great East Japan Earthquake. We considered about what we should do, now, in this kind of timing, you know, about the nature of our music in which people often say, “I’m encouraged by your songs”. This year, there must be many more people who'd want that kind of songs than before. Of course, we also incorporated some new elements, but overall, we wanted it to be an album that encourages people who listen to it.”

Based on that spirit, an album consists of 18 songs, including 5 solos was completed.

“This album is not implying that Arashi’s view of the world is a “Beautiful World”, but it means that, only by changing our perspectives, the places we live in, and our surroundings will turn into beautiful things. The title also reflects our hope that it’s the place everybody is aiming to, and also, we hope that from now on, that’s the place we’ll live in.

It will be great if we all can see the same landscape. In that sense, there was quite an awareness that this album is our next after “Boku no miteiru fuukei”.

We hope the landscape that we, Arashi and others, are seeing, is a beautiful world.

Especially after an unparalleled scale of natural disaster, every single word is carved deeply. It’s impossible to exclude and not thinking about it, right? We think it will be nice if we could accept and feel together what people can never forget.

Maybe, rather than, “the present Arashi”, “Arashi that faces the present” is more appropriate.

Five of the singles are active, futuristic new songs. The lead song, “Mada Minu Sekai He”, is the kind of song that makes us feel the concert breeze only by listening to it.

The PV of this song is already recorded in the “Arashi 10-11 Tour, Scene Kimi to Boku ga miteiru fuukei ~ Dome +”. We wanted to show how the time flows between the long round of the previous tour and the next album, or I should say, to make it feels that the previous tour and the next album, are connected.

Then it was decided to take a PV, preceding the album, and put it in the DVD.

So it’s not like, “Okay, this one is finished, next” but we want people to be able to feel, even slightly, the flow of how our works, one by one, are connected and form a line.”

And what about the solo song?

“After quite a long time not singing one, I decided to do a pop number, and decided to go with “Shake it”, but maybe the result is not so pop-ish (laugh)

Sendai Sepia san, who composed “Summer Splash” in the previous album, wrote the song. It turned out as a quite active one. I can dance vigorously with this song if I want.

At the concert, I’m planning to perform the song in a simple way, without using flying wires. This year also, Arashi wants to share a wonderful time with everybody in Domes and the Kokuritsu Stadium.”

Ohno Satoshi

“I think I was able to take the time and sang it slowly”

[Hung Up On]

This time, I’m singing a speedy song. I was thinking to dance with a rhythmical song this year. When I heard the tentative song, I thought “This song is quite hard”, but then I thought to myself, “Okay, let’s give it a try” (laugh). I think I will dance in detailed (choreography) again. My choreography is always detailed.

In this album, I think I was able to record the songs slowly. I didn’t have any dramas or anything at the time of recording, so I could take my time and sang the songs smoothly.

I’ve just listened to the freshly completed album, and as a whole, this album made me feel to keep moving on. There’s a power in it, and it’s fresh!

Aiba Masaki

My solo is singing the feelings of a boy who loves someone one-sidedly.

[Janakute]

I think the song is fun, the lyric is about a boy who loves someone one-sidedly. I could understand how he feels. The word “Janakute” is one of the keywords. The mismatch of the song's tone and the one-sided feeling is interesting.

Five songs are from our singles last year and this year. There are also new songs and solos, so I think this album is full with varieties. Among the new songs, there are some electric ones, and there are also the active ones. We also took “Mada Minu Sekai He” PV. Two kind of settings are alternately used, and we really danced a lot!”

Sakurai Sho

Feel the recording atmosphere at the training camp!

[Kono Mama Motto]

This time, I thought I would try a hard-core pop, so I chose this song. I changed the nuance drastically between “T.A.B.O.O”, my solo in our previous album, “Boku no mite iru fuukei”, and this one, so please do look forward to it

It’s the 10th album, I was surprised by the number. We surely have come this far (laugh). We named the album with the hope that, it will be great if the album is delivered to a “Beautiful World”. This album has 8 new songs, and my favorite is “Joy”. We recorded the chorus part together at the recording booth during the training camp at Yamanakako Lake. I hope you can also feel the atmosphere at the recording….

Ninomiya Kazunari

Each song has it’s own uniqueness, it’s really fun to listen.

[Doko ni demo aru uta]

(This time also, he wrote the lyrics and composed the song by himself)

This time, the song is finished quite early, but I was undecided about the lyrics. But again, I think the pace was quite normal, only the song was finished too fast, so I got that kind of impression.

More than anything, I’m very happy, and grateful too, that we can release albums every year! I recommend all songs in this album (laugh). Well, all of them are good songs! Each has its own uniqueness, and is enjoyable. It’s a new challenge for Arashi, and also there are singles and songs which are Arashi-like, so I hope you will listen to it soon!
