Who do you need to forgive?
Who says I need to forgive? Sounds like some sappy Autobot came up with this question. "Forgive each other, practice compassion, smile on another holding hands…" Oh, please! Next thing we'll be told to stop carrying weapons.
I don't have a need to 'make peace with people before I die', either - one of the upsides of being immortal. No need to cleanse my spark before it returns to the Allspark if the Allspark doesn't want me to begin with. I'm one of the few people who can hold an eternal grudge; I might as well make the most of it, don't you think?
Oh, but I can already hear the next argument - I should make peace with people before they die. But that would require that I care, wouldn't it? Now, tell me - why should I care about people who have wronged me? Why should I go to them first?
For the sake of argument, let's discuss the people you could say need my forgiveness. For instance, much as I abhor his very name, Skyfire. Did he ever ask my forgiveness? Did he ever bring me a few severed Autobot heads on a plate? Did he grovel on his belly or do anything even approaching an appropriate apology? And to think I would have gladly taken him back if he'd at least tried… And frankly, would you want to see a big white jet crawling on his belly? It wouldn't be an elegant sight.
Or Megatron. Has he ever apologised to me? So why, why should I forgive him?
