Blue. A colour. Isn't it interesting how Earth languages tend to be so imprecise when it comes to describing colours? So many shades that could be described by the simple word "blue".
Blue like the open sky (or the sky above some planets, to be precise). Wide and vast and bright and home. Flying feels - is - much more natural than even walking.

She isn't supposed to be here. In truth most if not all believed the only Decepticon Beta Design had long since gone offline. Of course it's not true, but it matters little now for the cause had led the Beta to this place and nothing not even her own fears would interfere this time. Shockwave though suspicious of her dissipearance is pleased to learn she is still active and much to her relief did not ask as to why or how. With the Autobot Beta's removed, Cybertron or what is left of it has been secured for her comrades who still struggle to repair the main energon generator and reactor.
As reward she was permitted to rejoin her comrades on the alien planet title Earth, via space bridge. She had been warned that the machine is still considered unreliable and to be sure to make contact upon arrival. All other instructions would be given to her by either Megatron or the Air Commander, Starscream.
However upon arrival the Beta program finds herself alone at the landing site. An unexpected situation considering Shockwave informed her that at least one of the seekers or groundpounders would escort her to the underwater base whatever that could mean.
Yet she sees no one.
Using her optics she scans the area and finds nothing mechanical though she does pick up a series of small energy readings. But they are so weak and so tiny she can't be sure if it's a glitch in her systems or it's residual energy from the bridge itself.
Not comfortable to find herself on this alien planet with no knowledge of it, Beta Reject 1.01 begins to move onward careful to remain in the shadows as she continues to scan the area for any threats. So far she can see none, but her programming tells her there is danger to be found and the though causes her to shiver in excitement. A preditory grin etches her features as she silently lowers and intricate but oddly familar pink mask over her own Onyx black face.
However her attentions quickly turns elsewhere as her scanners pick up a familar signature one she hasn't seen in over a thousand years. Upon closer examination the Beta realizes the form flying ahead isnt' the secondary mode she reconizes from Cybertron. Yet as her optics settle on the Decepticon decals engraved on it's wings the Beta knows without question that it is none other then the Air Commander himself.
An interesting choice for escort she muses. Given the fact they never got along too well she would have prefered one of the groundpounders, such as Reflector or perhaps Ravage. But she is only too pleased to see a familar face to care. Yet to her annoyance the jet flies past unaware of her presence or as she believes ignoring his orders.
Annoyed, Beta Reject lithely alters till all that remains in her place is a highly advanced Cybertronian anti-aircraft gun. Setting her sights ahead to where the F-15 is headed she debates one more about using the radio comm to catch the mech's attention. But she promptly decides against it, after all the Autobot's may have access to her communications channels which are no doubt both out of date and primative compared to what they must have now.
Instead she takes a more primative route; firing off a lowlight flare shot into the twilight sky, hoping to catch the seeker's attention without overloading his optics.
