Motorbike insurance renewal...

Aug 30, 2010 01:07

So, my first year's NCB comes up in a couple of weeks and its time to re-insure my bikes...

Ebike, who I've been insured with for the last year which only cost me about £600 all told for fully comprehensive, now want to charge me £1,142 to renew...... ¬_¬

Now THAT is a 'We don't want your business' quote if ever I saw one....

Not managed to get a multi-bike policy quote yet, but for the ZZ-R 1100 on its own I've been offered insurance at £189. So I reckon I can insure the two smaller bikes with it for about £350 tops. Will check with Carole Nash, Bennett's and a couple of others by phone, as they don't do multibike quotes online...pah...

So, probably not as expensive as I thought it was going to be, but I don't understand how Ebike can legally try to charge me that much more than last year's insurance... especially as I don't have any endorsments OR claims...you'd think they want to retain customers that don't smash their vehicles up wouldn't you?
