The new place...and frozen Smarties
This year is definitely set out to be an experience and a half, that's for sure.
after finding out that there is a third roomie tossed into the mix, things have been more interesting than they may have been, and interesting in the stressful way.
Now that my slab is covered in a bit of foam (my slab being this rock hard thing that is apparently allowed to be called a mattress), The Moulin Rouge kiss is up on my wall, Pictures finally have a place, everything is almost settled in. Me and Shony even had tea with dessert tonight! definitely feels more like home!
Minus. the hair. There is hair EVERYWHERE. I sweep, and it appears again...and it's not mine, and it's not hers, and it was definitely here since the day we moved in... process of elimination says: THE ROOMIE! I actually have no energy to write more than to say that it's actually driving me insane trying not to step on it. I went under the kitchen table to plug in the kettle yesterday, and even the floor under the table was covered in gross hair. ughhhhhhhh!
anyways, on to happier things, like these frozen Smarties that I am eating... a little trick that I picked up from Tori in first year, they really do taste so much better when they're cold!
Anyways, drama-wise, I am very happy to report that last year's huge spat seems to have finally been phased out, and other than a few digs from a certain person, things have been calm so far. There will be no drama of that sort allowed this year!
Being the handywoman that I apparently am, I set up a cupboard ("Billy") yesterday in an attempt to add more organization to this little box that is my room... It worked a little, but the ginormous pile of crap in the corner is still erking me a bit since there is no easy way to organize it into fitting into my room nicely.
Anyways, I'm insanely bored right now, and am way sick of cleaning...so I think I'm going to go flip through some channels on the tube and see if theres anything interesting on...maybe eat some more Smarties...
