Time for some self promotion
Because I haven't done it in at least a week. No good, eh? *whistles*
First. Writing! Because I have been spending all my writing efforts on Epic Unnamed Story (131 pages and counting...), my Stories of Arda account has been looking bare. So I put stuff up on it.
My assorted short stories and drabbles (nothing longer than 1000 words). A couple you may recognize from LJ from last year. But, well, I just wanted to say that I'm not quite dead... from writing fandom.
My beta (I'm not sure if she wants to be identified so no whistles from me until I get something) has been completely made of awesomesauce with this. This is the first story I have ever had betaed, and it's really a delight. A slightly painful delight, but nonetheless a delight.
And now... a drawing! Colored pencils, to be precise:

I'm very happy with how the prismacolor pencils worked for me, so rather than mess with digital (yet) I'm going to do my next colored piece in prismacolor. And it will be "The Hobbit" themed.
Pencil wise I'm working on an actual commission (squee), a small drawing of Guillermo del Toro (the director of the Hobbit, and who I'm meeting next week! SQUEE!), another random portrait, and then, then... my ambitious 9-portrait Fellowship drawing. Ahmigah.
But more later. In a mere few hours I'll be meeting with periantari, and I have more stories to tell at a later time. I'm also going to put up some Sini pics in my locked entries (so if you want to see those and for some reason I haven't friended you and you're reading this and have known me for a while, comment :D).
