Anyway, I've learned a little from bein' here so long, but I never really paid attention in class back home. Also, I speak Japanese. I speak Kansai-ben actually. I guess I could try standard Japanese if I had to, but probably not real well, to be honest.

Well, most of what I'm gonna teach is stuff that'll be important bein' here. Not like what ya learn in a regular school. An' Kansai-ben is just fine.

Well, come to the bar an' I'll feed you for free! I'm the assistant manager, an' Shinji pays me in free meals for people, so it's more or less allowed. I only recently came back here myself, so you didn't miss much while you were gone.

Guess we're well-liked, huh? I was here... six months, and then I left for two, and it's been 'bout a month this time. Guess it means we're popular with the scientists. There are worse things.
