Ridiculous...
...is my infrequency of posting. I haven't even bothered logging on to LJ in months. At any rate the only reason I did is because this is the only place I've been effectively keeping track of my weight/inch loss progress and I'm stoked to say I'm still going at a good pace!

In other unrelated news, Mikey and I went to see Taylor Swift in concert on the 30th and it was literally one of the best nights of my life. She put on SUCH an amazing show, and regardless of whether you're a fan of her music, if you appreciate musical talent at all, you've GOT to give her props, because this girl had the best live vocals I've EVER heard...not to mention the amount of energy she put into every aspect of her performance. There were times when her between-song speeches were pretty campy and overly-rehearsed, but the emotion she put into performing her songs--not just singing them--was so intense, that as a theatre buff/actress wannabe, I was completely floored. And I haven't even mentioned the diversity of her musicality! She really deserves all the hype she gets, because she's truly amazing. Oh, yeah, and she's Mikey's dream celebrity crush...and when he saw her for the first time, he had tears running down his face. :) I find that so incredibly endearing and hopelessly cute. Almost sexy. Ha.
Annnnd, in a week and a half, he and I will be embarking on our WEEK-LONG vacation to Disney World!!! I am sooooooo excited, I can barely contain myself! Next Saturday, my friend Ashley is getting married, and I'm her MOH (Meredith is the flower girl), so we'll be spending the weekend in Charlotte for wedding festivities. And then, after returning to Thomson to work for a few short days, we'll be hitting the road for Orlando on Wednesday the 26th! I've already been to Disney once, but only Magic Kingdom and only for one day, so there's a LOT I didn't get to do (we had Meredith with us so we really didn't get to ride much)...plus, I'm beyond thrilled to get to see Epcot, Animal Kingdom (GIRAFFES!!), and Hollywood Studios, which is smack dab in the middle of STAR WARS WEEKEND! :) AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Y'all. Seriously. I could pee my pants, that's how excited I am.
The only thing that worries me is that he and I have been planning these two huge events (T.Swift + Disney) for so many months now, that once they are over and done with, it'll feel like a huge exhalation, with not much else to look forward to. We're both starting school in August, so we're definitely excited about that, but the rest of the summer seems like it's going to be pretty boring. I'm okay with that, truly and honestly, but I just hope that it's enough for him. I guess what I mean is, I hope that *I'm* enough for him. But to quote the great Justin Bobby, truth and time tells all. ;)
