Oh my gooooooood. I finally know how to properly use the pen tool on Photoshop, and make paths and use the stroke path brush. GAWD. I had looked at so many tutorials, but none of them seemed to get through my skull. I understood how to put the anchor points and make curvy lines, but I just could not seem to FILL IN that line I drew. Just a simple click. I feel so silly.
My mom and I baked over 175 cookies today. Heh. Molasses cookies, pecan shortbread, and Eisenhower's wife's sugar cookies. They all came out awesome. That last recipe wasn't in the list we had today, but because of miscommunication, I ended up mixing 2 cups of sugar instead of 3/4 of a cup of brown sugar in with the butter. Oops. So, we googled recipes with that amount of sugar and came across a recipe on ol' Ike's presidential library website. Of all the places!
During the past year, I haven't really liked any of the Threadless designs, but these two designs are wonderful. I love it when songs are translated into art.
I cannot wait to watch Doubt and Milk. And honestly, The Day The Earth Stood Still wasn't that bad.
