rain!
i heard thunder/lightning in the distance as i was falling asleep last night, but no rain as far as i could tell.. apparently it DID rain quite a few inches though.. blazer's food bowl was overflowing this morning... at least the plants are happy!
i'm excited about the game on saturday.. its up in the air as to where i will be viiewing it, as there is painting to be done at the parents house, steven pt deux is having party sat nite, and there is a keg at the lake house... SO.... its hard to say, but i know i'll be drinking beer!
my roommate switched his alarm clock from being a really loud beeping to being the radio (not sure what station).. sometimes it fakes me out and makes me think its my alarm.. i have mine set on album 88, tho there is the capability to put in a CD and set which song i wake up to.. this is pretty cool, but sometimes the spinning up of the CD playing wakes me up before the actual song.. plus, who uses cd's these days anyway?
project runway was pretty good last night.. that was pretty mean of them to fly everyone to paris just to eliminate someone.. too bad that angela girl had such a hideous outfit.. i thought the black dude should have won, but the other guy's outfit was pretty hot
saturday we went out to a river in farmington that was prety cool.. the hike was about a mile or so and we brought some beers.. sat in the 1.5 foot deep water and played around... tried to skip stones, but somewhere in my life i forgot how to do that.. walked up the river a little bit and "floated" down.. it was like going down the broad, but without the boat, and without going anywhere.. but still a river nonetheless.. i got a bunch of poison ivy on my legs tho.. that has been driving me nuts all week
